Cantref Coach House
The Coach House is situated in the heart of the countryside in the parish of Cantref. An area of scattered farms and homes. The historic Cathedral town of Brecon is just a few miles away. There is plenty of scope for walks or cycling direct from the doorstep with scenic drives in abundance.
The cottage is set within the grounds of the owner's grade II listed property. It is a newly renovated one storey one bedroom cottage incorporating oak beams, oak floor boards and traditional stone floors which are warm under feet with the underfloor heating.
The lounge is open plan to the kitchen. It is furnished with a mixture of modern/traditional.Sky TV, DVD, video and hi fi. There is a small cross section of videos, books (including some local interest) and board games. There is also a sofa bed should extra sleeping accommodation be required. (extra charge: £25) Internet access point.
The Kitchen is equipped with modern oak units, full size oven, ceramic hob and small oven/grill, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, toaster, kettle,cofffee maker, etc.
The bedroom has a comfortable double bed with wardrobe and clothes chests. A hairdryer is supplied.
The shower room consists of a large double size shower, toilet, handbasin and shaver point. There are speakers installed from the hi fi should you like some music while singing in the shower!
The cottage has its own private garden area set within the walled garden of the main house. It has a small patio area that is equipped with barbeque, table and chairs for dining al fresco. Steps leads to the lawned area with small pond/water feature. There are sun loungers for relaxing.
There is ample parking outside the property.
This is an ideal base for exploring this beautiful area whether walking, cycling, touring or just a get away from it all break.
All bed linen, towels & utilities are included in the price. A substantial complimentary welcome basket which includes some local produce is on hand for a small snack on arrival or your first breakfast.
